With 10-years of experience in the skateboard industry, Anthony comes to this position most recently from Volcom clothing with a solid knowledge of the skate world, and retail experience including marketing, sales, purchasing, and product development. He also has five years of professional skateboarding under his belt with corporate sponsorship and magazine editorial.

Ezekiel Names New Hire

Ezekiel, the Premium California Lifestyle Brand, welcomes Jessica Rush as their new International Sales Director/Junior Marketing Manager. Jessica will be responsible for directing the International team into a global empire, managing the wholesale growth and the brands retail marketing. In addition to International sales, Jessica will also develop brand strategies to support the junior’s domestic growth including, advertising, web, product placement and promotions.

Jessica began working in the industry in 1995 where she started at Dawls and Drawls as a U.S. account representative. In 2000 she was hired at the legendary company, Stussy as a girls brand manager and then promoted to National Sales Manager.

DC Hires Jeff Pang As East Coast Skate Promotions Manager

DC is proud to announce it has brought on Jeff Pang for the newly created position of Skate Promotions Manager for the East Coast.

In his new role, Jeff will be responsible for building and managing the East Coast flow team, organizing and attending East Coast events and developing East Coast grassroots marketing and product plans. Jeff has dedicated his life to skateboarding, and will play a tremendous role in increasing DC's East Coast presence, especially in New York City. He will report to Shawn Baravetto and will continue to be based in New York City to best serve the needs of the NY skateboarding community.


Billabong Hires Allison Hutchings

Billabong announces Allison Hutchings Perez as Juniors’ marketing and events manager where she will join the Juniors’ marketing team at Billabong’s USA headquarters in Irvine, CA.

With over seven years experience in the action sports industry, Allison comes to this position with a solid knowledge of the surf, skate and snow worlds and has an extensive marketing and events background.

Caleb Brown, Creative Director at Rossignol Snowboards, has moved to the Bay area to pursue his goal of starting his own agency, Bustah Brown Design Inc. DC Hires Carolyn Frizelle

DC Shoes, Inc., a leader in performance skateboard shoes, has announced today that Carolyn Frizelle has joined the Girls’ Division of DC Shoes as Junior’s Designer. Carolyn comes to DC with talent, drive, education, and experience.

Before joining the Girls’ Division at DC, Carolyn was a designer at Volcom. She graduated with a degree in Advanced Fashion Design from FIDM, and right out of school got to work on private label projects for Nordstrom and Victoria’s Secret.

Quiksilver Promotes Jeff Booth

Quiksliver, a boardriding industry leader, today announced that Jeff Booth has been promoted to Brand Marketing Director for the Men’s brand. In this capacity, he will be responsible for guiding marketing efforts for Quiksilver Americas, focusing on the brand’s retail marketing, and further promoting the globalization of the brand and worldwide synergies. Booth, long associated with Quiksilver, most recently served as the brand’s Western Region Sales Manager.
